Jozee Tjoa

I am Jozee Tjoa a dutch artist living on the Caribbean island Bonaire.

I create multiple layered abstract paintings inspired by my surroundings. They are an ongoing exploration of my feelings in nature, like diving into the sea and the beautiful colours that I see every day around me. Colours of flowers, the sky, sunsets and of course the Caribbean Sea.

My work is also an exploration of paint, colours, making lines and textures with different materials. I work intuitive on several pieces at once. The artworks evolve overtime, layer upon layer.
